Vann Nath, a Cambodian painter, is one of the few survivors of Pol Pot's torture center Tuol Sleng (S21) in Phnom Penh.
This film aired in 1997 on German Public TV ARD and tells his story.
12 years later, in March 2009, "Duch", the former commander of Tuol Sleng is facing the International Tribunal in Phnom Penh, for the torture and killings of thousands.
