first car to beat quattro in the class b rally championship was a lancia betta which was rwd as soon as subaru lancia intergrale and mitsubishi used awd you never heard from quattro again. by the way a bmw m3 is faster around a racing track than most of audi's rs quattro range. so nissan gtr is the current awd champ

@CitrusJuicebox it depends on mass distribution. if the engine's center of gravity falls in front of the front drive train then you can have all sorts of bad behavior.

@close2madness it depends on car.. old xdrives are ok, like old quattro, but new ones are pretty bad, I`ve heard that BMW offers "active" differential on x6 and other cars so its much better.. but without it... I better drive STI or EVO

@rook1e5 sorry but xdrive is far better than quattro, as you can see in many many test and even videos here on youtube, i've tested it so I know that xDrive "kicks ass"

stability contro ?l kosítsatok már ki! Mit ért ez alatt a BMW hogy fékezgetjük a megcsúszó kereket,ki ne találja már nekem semmilyen BMW fanatikus,hogy csúszós úton az RWD hajtás jobb mint az AWD ! Szerintem nem itt van a kutya elásva,hanem ott ,hogyha örömködni akarsz akkor jobb szolgálatot tesz egy hátsókerekes,ha hosszútávú kényelmes,minden körülményekhez optimális autót akarsz, akkor jobb az AWD.Persze az RWD sem csúszik ha kell ha nem,és az AWD sem csodafegyver,meg tud csuszni rendesen...
