As heads of state arrive in Copenhagen, Prime Minister Lars Loekke Rasmussen says "We owe it to ourselves, and all of our constituencies back home, to make this conference the turning point that the climate change calls for."

Prior to this statement, the Danish Prime Minister confirmed to Sudan that work will start with the Kyoto Protocol.

  • You need to listen to all countries. Thats what democracy is about, and thats what you have been cheering in Denmark. What your Prime Minister (Lars Løkke Rasmussen) does is contrary to the spirit of the developing aid, which Denmark has provided for Africa through many years, Lumumba Stanislaus Di-Aping (photo above), chair of the Group of 77, mostly consisting of developing countries, tells Danish daily Politiken.

The outcome was decided long ago but the world is meant to think they are working hard to save us! All hail Obama, Saviour of the World!
