  • The multiplexing is partly mechanical. There are 3 light sensors and three touch sensors. Each RCX input port has one of each. The top (3rd) floor call button has a touch sensor behind it, but the other three call buttons are mounted on a couple of beams that press on the one or the other or both of the other two touch sensors depending on which call button you press. From the point of view of the program, there are only light sensors, but when touch sensors are pressed the light level is 100%.

  • Hmm - I can only see one RCX, and 7 sensors - two top and bottom detectors, one for the encoder wheel and four for the buttons. How did you multiplex these?

  • sweeeet, I used to have a mindstorm set...couldn't figure out how to make anything
