While I was in England this past August I toured Kensington Palace. They have on display there in the Palace, alongside dresses from a total of the 7 Princesses who lived there (including Princess Margaret), the dress in the slide show above found at :10; :15; :21; and 1:20. The caption stated the dress was for a masquerade ball she attended. I took/posted a photo of it in a Facebook photo album. Up close, I don't think it really looks all that becoming and hard to imagine Diana wearing it.

Diana was a true graceful and elegant princess in every sense. She is deeply missed.

Wow. Even though not biologically related, but related through marriage, it looks like some of Princess Diana's style and charm has rubbed off on Kate. Like she has inherited her fashion sense.
