I know he is great. But how come he doesn't do any grooming before tamping?? (Grooming = Leveling). He even has a grooming kit that he sells online. Can you explain the reason for not grooming? Thanks.
interesting that he dosen't level off before his tamp! i've never seen someone tamp such a large mound of coffee. obviously knows what he's doing because his pours are beautiful! :)
maybe a larger cups were more usefull for latte art at cappuccino's! in his video's he uses larger cups. Anyway isn't latte art challange so man he's great. maybe more chill in the future! love his style!
@13woz13 This part of the DVD i created (Available through AASCA website :) is the Barista Comp. Latte Art was at a later part of the day. When making the cappuccino (no chocolate on top) it’s important to concentrate on the texture of the milk, the way the milk has cut through the espresso, the amount of foam from stretching the milk etc etc. In the AASCA competitions, it’s normally a given that elaborate latte art doesn’t appear very offer on the cappuccino.
