@topalli40 I dont think so.I had one and didnt think much of it. My old phone surfed the net very well with opera mini,in fact better than touchscreen smartphone I had.I know several people who do not want all the apps and touchscreen.That said Im not saying its bad to have a smartphone, its just that some people dont want all those bells and whistles.I checked out the defy.It looks like your standard smartphone.Curved corners and iphonish, etc. water and dust resistant w/android.

Not everyone wants a fragile, candybar, curved corner, black shiny phone that looks like iphone.lol Seriously many people just dont want all the useless "toys" most smartphones offer today. Some want a bulky phone that wont break and has a few "toys" to make it worth while.
