This is me playing a Traditional Scottish Air called "The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond"....

This beautiful arrangement was made by the great scottish classical guitar virtuoso David Russell...

Here is the story of the piece, as written on the Book " Celtic Music volume 1 - 11 pieces from Message of the Sea - Collection David Russell" :
" O ye'll tak the high road, And I'll tak the low road, And I'll be in Scotland afore ye. But I and my true love will never meet again, On the bonnie, bonnie banks o' Loch Lomond.
The words of this most famous Scottish Air tell of the farewell of a follower of Bonnie Prince Charlie, to his sweetheart. The "Low Road" refers to the grave, as he expected to be executed in Carlisle".

I hope you will like it!!! :-D

  • Ciao Francesco, trovo molto interessante questa trascrizione...mi dai qualche info in più....grazie in anticipo ;)!

  • @raffaellococo Ciao Rafaello!

Fammi sapere!!! Ciao da Francesco
