Six-strings bass

There's a little surprise at the end. You'll see. (Michael Angelo style)

The Song Panic Attack from Dream Theater's octavarium as a cover.
Dream Theater bass player John Muyng is tuned as following A,D,G,C,F,A#

I'm sorry for the end of this cover vid. It's a little desynched about sound-video, but that's correct. I really love this band! Cheers Dream Theater and their song Panic Attack

Obviously, but what technique did you use? What pattern did you practice?

You just have to practice these techniques at any time. :)

Everything you can play by plucking with two fingers, you try to play it with three fingers.

    It's a non-stop practicing.

There's not a defined pattern to practice.. You just have to get comfortable with one more finger at any time. And then, you'll chose to use one, two, three or even four fingers.

i effectively pluck with 4 fingers, but only on the sixteenth notes.

I chose the better way to be comfortable and keep the riffs restful

Most metal bands use five and six string basses. That way there are more notes to play that are higher up on the Bass Clef and a more audible bassist.
