After attaining the Map Data for Crateria, Samus ventures further into Crateria to discover any remaining relics that she may be able to make use of.

Using her ever-familiar Morph Ball power-up, she reaches another chozo statue with a bomb power-up... but it's a trap! Not a very good one though, as Samus quickly dispatches the enemy and moves on, heading deeper into Zebes to Brinstar.

What else happens? Watch and find out!

Enjoy!~

  • ...I wanna play this game again so badly.

  • Never knew one could kill the statue so fast by hitting it in the chest. Even when beating the game in under 2 hours I always ended up with a headless Torizo chasing me around its room for a bit.

  • There was this one video on Youtube of a guy who beat this game in about twenty minutes. He shamelessly exploited loading glitches to pull this off, though, but made up for it with an hour-long TAS of getting all the items in the game. That was a pretty crazy video, y'all should check it out.

  • One thing I like about the Prime series and the older Metroid games is that they look at either percentage OR time in getting the best ending. Not like the GBA titles that have BOTH as a requirement. No doubt having done Fusion 100%, (which I'll get to watching eventually) you've seen how horribly inefficient it is to get the expansions. Also, I never quite got the hang of the wall jump in this game; It seemed easier in future titles.

  • I'm surprised you didn't at least try the pattern break once when you were getting those missiles in brinstar. It's a fun way to get super missiles and a reserve tank before you're supposed to get them.

  • The charge beam has the same problem here as in MM4.

The charges are annoying to listen to, and they drown out the music.

It's not as bad here, but it sucked in MM4.

  • Bomb? You want it? It's yours, my friend, as long as you CAN DEFEAT ME IN MORTAL COMBAT!

  • at 3:47 Why didn't you mockball?

  • Have you notice that most of the enemies in this game seem to be insect-like?

  • You really shouldn't attack the Fire Fleas for they light the way.
