Celestino Caballero knocks out Steve Molitor

Celestino Caballero stops Steve Molitor via a TKO 52 seconds into the fourth round to retain the WBA junior featherweight title and take Molitor's IBF title.

Panama's Celestino Caballero beat previously undefeated Steve Molitor , stopping the Canadian 52 seconds into the fourth round to retain the WBA junior featherweight title and take Molitor's IBF crown.

An uppercut sent Molitor (28-1, 11 KOs) crashing to the canvas early in the fourth, and the referee stepped in to stop it as Caballero readied to pummel The Canadian Kid yet again.

"I worked hard for this fight," Caballero (31-2 22 KOs) said. "God helped me to this victory. ...Molitor is not a warrior. He was a fine, great champion, but only for the public."

Molitor entered the fight with a 6-0 record in championship bouts.

"He was the better man," Molitor said. "I felt tight going in."
