Stopping Israel's propaganda war in the UK

Activists disrupted the offices of the British Israel Communications and Research Centre (BICOM) in central London this morning. The lobby group's media centre, which is playing a key role in Israel's public relations operation during the assault on Gaza (http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/200[...]bludowicz ), was shut down as protesters occupied the building.


Photographs of civilian casualties from Gaza were pasted on to the computer screens of public relations executives, phone lines cut off to halt the organisation's media rebuttal unit and leaflets thrown out of window on to the main road and handed out to staff pressing them to confront the truth about the human cost of Israeli aggression.

Germany’s Chancellor says dialogue between Washington and Tehran would be useless as long as Iran is hell-bent on destroying Israel.

Chancellor Angela Merkel said Germany was skeptical on Obama’s chances of success with Iran, AFP reported.

“On the European Union side we have held talks with Iran on multiple occasions, but unfortunately very unsuccessfully over a long period of time,” Merkel said.

-According to reports & testimony on the House floor from U.S. Congressman McCotter, (June 28, '09), Taraneh Mousavi, a young Iranian woman, was literally scooped off the streets without provocation on her part & with no arrest warrant.

-This young woman was taken to one of the regime's torture chambers, where she was repeatedly brutalized, raped & sodomized by Ahmadinejad's agents, & with the consent of the "supreme leader," Ali Khamenei.
