  • Thank You

Actually The MTD sun shed is about 90% experimental. I've been developing the concept for the last 2 years and I sell how to books ans MTD kits to get people started.

At this time I am focusing on Steel Stud slot collectors than may be asembled for about $100 each from commonly available materials.

When properly installed an MTD heating and hot water system can pay for itself in less than 2 years.

Google MTD solar heating for more info

  • hello,i like your system,i might order a diferential temp switch.the glazing is just there to protect the polyester from uv fading right?

  • Thank You

I do use the MTD sun shed to dry products that I paint in the winter. 100% of the energy used to heat the sun shed comes from the sun. The three 50 gallon drums reached 135 F today.

  • The suntuf prevents heat loss.

  • the suface of the sun is actully relivly cool compared to heat projected from it.

the sun's surface is composed mostly of melted hydrogen and heilum, but in its atmospere nuclear fussion occess with hydrogen creating constont nuclear explosions, as well of the fission of heilum. the core of the earth is actully hotter than the surface of the sun. and plasma has a much lower boiling point than heilum. AND YES THIS IS RIGHT

  • winter temp here regularly hits -30 celcius , -50 with wind chill . no sign of global warming on my heating bill .

  • Very interesting and innovative idea. Are you using this to preheat a hot water tank for home use or is this experimentation to see what you can do?

  • Interesting approach, very creative. Are you using this water to preheat hot water for a hot water heater or is this experimentation?
