I have always loved Vidblaster. I like the interface much more than I do on Wirecast, but desktop presenter won me over.

@eriklanigan DV is still a compressed format so the CPU has to decompress it while playing it. That might be a factor too, especially if he uses more then one DV camera.

@linuxcooldude Yes, I noticed that too. I suspect Brian was seeing increased CPU usage from *deinterlacing* the DV video. That's a common problem with Wirecast, at least.

Usually DV/firewire uses less CPU power then USB.
