the only reason he averaged 11, 8, and 2 was because we have another all star in brandon roy who was averaging 22 a game and an all star snub in Lamarcas who averaged 18 a game and miller added 14. check the stats from the season before you fools talk!

@acd19xyz yes that is bust numbers, when your drafted number you are suppose to be a beast. Dwight howard average 12 points and 10 rebounds his rookie year and in his third year in the nba became an all star. Its been four years and you are telling me 11 points and 8.5 rebounds are number one pick nubers.

It wasn't tell Howard 5th year in the league that he averaged more then 2.2 blocks a game and Oden was doing that before he got injured last year. For everyone calling him a bust did you ever watch a blazer game when he was healthy? He completely changed how teams played when he was on the court. None of his injuries are chronic and will have lasting effects (Bones heal stronger and the micro fracture surgery was a preventative surgery).

Oden does somethings you just never see on a basketball court. I mean, he's catching lobs and dunking in heavy traffic. If there are players that can do things like that, it's only the greats like Shaq. Even now, Dwight is the only guy you see doing things like this. Oden is definitely number 1 material, but his body is just terribly injury prone.
