sony, johnson and jhonson, nike, nestle were mentioned. I think its not so much on the previous calamities of the businesses that you need to focus on but more on how they have Manipulated the term CSR in their own way in the context of their business and that has either been a risk or a beneficiary factor for the profit or welfare of the business overall. 4 main areas include, Customers, Shareholders, Suppliers and Employees
I recently received a Magazine on performance in my Weekly Economist, and it was entirely based on CSR. It kind of hinted out some of the businesses which we have been recently hearing about and some of the key things to consider. Hopefully this is helpful not just to myself but those taking the BUSS4 exam on 20th June :
- Cool Farming
Shareholders vs Stakeholders
Employees role as a driving force for a better csr strategy
@creed2709 Yeah! :D I think the specification of the CSR research we received wasn't very good. All we have done really is research everything to do with CSR including theory and examples related to each section of the spec. I have 282 pages of research as a result.
Try and just focus on big companies such as Coca Cola, Primark and the Panarama programme exposing child labour. Morrisons Plan A, Shell, BP, BMW's apprenticeship scheme enabling people to transfer to their industry etc Good Luck!
@creed2709 yeah im using tutor2u aswell, i used that topic tracker thing on there I thought change management wudve come out? If ur research resources are on word we could do a mass swap including the guy who replied to me below?
