Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Item Cloning Glitch

The item cloning glitch for the Japanese versions of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

ONLY WORKS ON THE JAPANESE VERSIONS!



1) Have Ditto hold the 'item-to-clone.'
2) Go into Double Battle.
3) Have Ditto transform into enemy.
4) Have other Pokemon steal (use Thief) on Ditto.
5) Viola, you now have 2 of the same item

ok first of all a MUKU bird is a japanese bird which is what staravia is.

I tried it with 2-on-2 fight with a friend, i tried cloning the item from myself... but it didnt work.

and how can i do the glitch over and over ? because when i look for 2-on-2 battles ingame i can't find any...
