its a rattle. Sounds like beads or something shaking around on the inside. I've got a friend who's def who played football with me here at Oklahoma State. His name was Martel VanZant. He was a bad ass mo fo! Sorry there are idiots who won't explain what the noise is to you. I'm lookin for a 2006 Yota myself. Is yours the TRD Off Road package? I'm think I may go with the sport. Have you driven the sport? Which do you prefer? And what do you get for gas mileage?

Yes... i have Tacoma Package 2006!
well.. about package between sport really same engine 236hp and all SAME but just different is Rims and Hood thats it
me prefer Package Because Rim with off road! and Sport rims for Road only
but really no matter!

And about Gas milesage!... its alot! not save gas!
like 16-22 mile per gallon (Maunal) V6 4.0l
i sold it last year cuz of gas too much!
