Первый чемпион мира Азербаийджана была армыянин-борец Артем Терян из Кировабада в 1953 году, .вторым чемионом мира Азербайджана- борец Арамаис Саяадян 1961г. которого благодарны азербайджански народ избил в 1990 в Баку,и изгнал от страны, которой он подарил чемионский титул…….. об этом в Азербаийджане никто не вспоминает
