hey i need some help please. i do everything but when i get to the point where it said wait for ipod to go in recovery mode, my ipod wont go in recovery mode??? what do i do ??????

Mine doesn't auto detect and i can't seem to find it. According to my iPod my version is 2.2.1 (5H11) , i have no idea what in the hell that means, so any help is muchly appreciated :P lol.

Um I'm not sure about the mac cause i got Windows and in most cases yes you can restore it.
