  • Man, I just read the whole thread...

Wrk, you are a fool, chewing gum is recommended.

Negative G? Yes, occurs when you do an outside loop; eg flying along, half-roll to inverted and then do a loop that sees then plane initially go up. And yes all the blood rushes to your head. Watch a thousand vids and you will never see a military jet pull neg G. Aerobatic pilots will do outside snap rolls or loops. But very gently compared to inside loops or snaps. To keep the blood pressure in their head

  • Training to avoid G-lock.

First, be pretty fit period, that guy had too many burgers!!!

G-lock - as you know - occurred I'm that vid, about 6 - 8. Not that high!! When all the blood left his brain, you come out of G-lock reasonably quickly; there are always exceptions I guess.

The additional training is a combination strength work (anaerobic ) not extra cardio and technique. You hear the pilot say " take a deep breath and flex your legs". Full technique is you take that deep breath and flex

  • how do they train the pilots to tolerate those G's?

  • holy shit look at all the blood drain from his face he turns literaly grey

  • @cribster123 is a negative G means that the blood is pressed by centrifical force in to the head insted of to the leggs? and if so aint that much more dangers?

  • thats what u called G-FORCE

  • That gum probably weighed like 6 pounds!

Where they pulling the full 9.5G the Hornet can handle?

  • omg that was funny!!!

  • Awesome! I was worried at his first time, but I can't stop laughing after the third time! Great job posting this! Fly Safe!
