Tag Rugby Gyor Hungary

On Friday the 28/08/2009 I conducted 2 coaching sessions in Tag Rugby The
first lesson was in Székesfehérvár, Where Frenc let me run his girls team in www.newhorizons123.com
a Tag Rugby lesson and we finished up including the boys in a short game
until I had to leave to catch the bus back to Gyor. Thank you to Frenec and
the club for the gift of wine and a club shirt.

The last session was in Gyor, and it was to a group of students who came
down to have a quick skills introduction and ended up playing 2 hours of Tag
Rugby,

I gave them the Tag Kit to take to school and they are now going to play Tag
Rugby in their PE lesson. I taught them a few warm up games to use as drills
for skills, and they just loved them as new games as well. I changed some of
the Tag rules to suit a basket ball court.

@blinky92 Hi, I went there from Australia just to do this. I also do some things with the Hungarian Rugby. But I am in Australia and have no plans to go back to Hu anytime soon. If you want I can put you in touch with some teams in Rugby and some people. Cheers..Gary

It was the very first time they had touched a Rugby ball, And it is the first time Tag Rugby was played in Hungary,. After about 30 min they had attacking lines and defense lines set out correctly, and now they play Tag Rugby at school. they have fun and are getting more and more students to play. I am sure if you want to put a team together, we can challenge you to a game, We can choose either Vienna (Wein) in Austria, or Gyor or Székesfehérvár, in Hungary

hi mate, just saw this video. We have a touch rugby team in Budapest Hungary which has been on the go for four years now. If you are still in the country perhaps we could arrange a get together between your guys and ours. Even if touch and tag are different i'm sure we could find some common ground and get some kind of game organised. Let me know what you think. Cheers!
