How to crochet Chevron motive. This pattern forms waves and these are made by increasing at the top of the wave and decreasing at the bottom.

  • Based on your example, how many chains did you start out with before you started increasing and decreasing?

  • This pattern was worked in multiples of 17 + 4 stitches

  • I like how there are no holes at the dips, like other patterns. Thanks for this.

  • people... its youtube. if shes going to fast listen to one direction and pause the dang video...

  • Thank u!

  • thanks so much, this is great!! Ive been trying to read it from a pattern but couldnt get it right, so this makes much more sense to me now, seeing you do it, thank you!

  • its created in sets of 12, if u cant understand this video watch mikeyssmail videos starting with 1 lazy wave chevron zig zag crochet stitch

  • Yes can you do this pattern from the beginning. I have know idea where to start.

  • Stop complaining that she's going too fast. You need to actually know how to crochet and the specific stitches to learn how to do chevron stitch. If you actually listen to what she's saying and you know how to double crochet and skip stitches, then no problem.

  • she's going to fast!!!

  • If you increase to create the 3 high parts and decrease to create the 2 low parts, don't you increase by 3 stitches every row? Because if you increase 3 times, you increase by 9 stitches total and if you decrease 2 times, you decrease by 6 stitches total, which means that you increase 3 stitches in the end?

Should I make sure there's an even number of troughs and peaks for this reason? Thanks!

  • I`m looking for lacy chevron afghan. Do you know the stitch? I can´t figure out how to do it!
