@PSNMarksmanSniper @SteamzV1 Nope, you see whenever I try to get a 1 shot kill headshot, I tend to insta-switch to my pistol just incase I need to fire a couple of finishers, but if I see that I get the kill then I insta-switch after the insta-switch to my primary again, which delays the bolt-action but gives me the opportunity to react with my pistol instead of being caught unarmed while cycling the bolt.

@01MLin A 2500k with a 560Ti is running around $850 (prices usually go up or down a few dollars due to changing prices & mail in rebates) but I highly recommend waiting because newer hardware is around the corner (like a couple months). I'd wait for Ivy Bridge, newer Nvidia 6xx cards & the full lineup of AMD's 7xxx cards. You can probably get good deals on current hardware but it won't be too cheap.

@KnightRite ; I sold my 47 plasma last semester so what I have to resort to when playing battlefield is a small, oldschool box tv; I'm basically shooting at grains of sand. Compared to that, the gtx 560Ti on medium-high settings will practically blow me away lol.
at the top of your head, how much does the setup you're describing run for?

@01MLin @threatty You don't need a $500 graphics card to run the game btw. That's only if you want ultra settings. You can do BF3 well at medium-high settings at respectable framerates with a GTX 560Ti (around $250). As for the processor a 2500k is really good price for performance. If you can I'd recommend waiting for the newer GPU line from Nvidia (and the rest of AMD's cards) & Ivy Bridge processors from Intel (although for gaming IVY won't make too much of a difference). Just my two cents.

I personally prefer the 8x rifle scope and the 12x ballistic simply because it's easier to get the lead right on a moving target with those. For me at least.

Hey, it took 4, no 5, no 6, well technically with that last revive, 7...7 guys on the opposite team to take one lone rambo down.
kudos.

when the next battlefield comes out everybody is gonna be like bf3 was way better it happens with evey game this game is the shit!
Watching these B3 vids is making me miss the game tremendously. I want to transition from console B3 to PC B3...for obvious reasons. also because I don't have a tv to play it on at the moment ='(
anyways, what would be a good, basic PC setup, decently-priced (I'm a college student) to handle the sheer epic immensity that is Battlefield 3? I'll do my research, but I figured I might as well go to the peeps that're already in the know. Any comments appreciated!

@01MLin I'd say, GTX 580 for graphics card, Intel Core i5 2500k for processor, at least 4 gigs of RAM memory and your good to go. Shouldn't be too hard to scratch up a PC around those for about a 1000$. Also, you can try sites like Digital Storm to see if they have a pre-built PC for your needs.

Nice drag shots, got a bit stale in the middle but other than that nice video.

@SythestBF3 I understand that these kind of videos of unedited gameplay can be a bit boring. However, there are those who still enjoy these, so I'll keep uploading unedited gameplay clips that I feel are worth posting every now and then.

@Threatty There were no boring bits to me. I liked the middle section because it showed me that you ACTUALLY MISSED couple of shots! The skills with the sniper rifle while playing the objective were impressive. I've actually tried with no scope at all with the bolt actions, to be a little more mobile while capturing flags. Brings back the unique character that World at War bolt actions had. Very nice video. By tuning the aim, do you mean just your practice and persistence?

@anthcesana Yes, pretty much just adjusting the mouse sensitivity just right, and getting that twitch aiming right. Just takes practice.
