Senator Pell visits the Kingston RR station a year after the fire in 1988, pledges to help assist the Friends of Kingston Station in an effort to restore and save the station if possible. Media invited by Pell staff.

  • Conductor Manny Correria on Amtrak train 177 leaving Kingston is greeted by Senator Pell during his visit to the Kingston Station. Senator Pell chats with station agent Jack McCabe who assures that that citizens have pledged continued support vis a vis the Friends of Kingston Station.

    Pell explained to the media the fate of the station if funding was not provided.
