The Bible also instructs people to do good charitable acts for the poor, hungry and not to judge others. Somehow, the religious wrong conveniently forget that part.

To me, worshipping the Creator is to do good or help others truly in need. I am not perfect at all or an angel or whatever, but that is my opinion. Not trying to be judgemental, but most of the bible beaters (or other religious nuts around the world) forget the part about not hurting others.

LOL! So it's obvious you've never actually read the old testament, just the edited versions that removed ALL of god/s's alleged words. If god/s wrote the original, and that is the true word, why would it rewrite it if it's perfect? The old testament is the original and must be used as the ONLY text representing this alleged god and its horribly violent words.
