@HWJASURY We don't need to go back in time, like in that case, if you go 5 more years back , that girl is not even born and hence no case at all! Your problem was the age difference and its about the guy being too old. Age is just a number would apply for him. Can't send a 5 year old to attend college either! Besides if he did fall in love with a kid then he surely qualifies to be termed as a child molestor and also no 5 year old's sane parents would approve of them dating.

@ThePianoPhenomenon Okay so the name calling was unnecessary.  Still, when doug was acting for this film he had to be 38 or 39 while his current wife was 5 years old at the time. Would it have been okay if they had dated then? it should be if age is just a number. But I sincerely doubt that'd be considered okay on any level.
