My daily driver is E46 328i and E30 325i weekends. 325i is more responsive with Signature Motoring performance (CAI) intake kit. Installed it myself in under half hour. HP increase on the 325i is about 9.5HP for a cost of $170 or around $19 per HP gain. Best 1st performance mod to do. Other application data:
E30 series: 6.0-13.4hp gain
E36 series: 5.5-12hp gain
E46 series: 6.0-13.9hp gain
E92 series: 8.5+ hp gain
Z3/Z4 (all): 5.5-13.9hp gain

one more good E30 went bite the dust what ashame :(
-
heard of sports suspension ? think it would have helped lol
-
der hätte vorher abbrechen sollen, die karre war vorher schon neben der spur
-
Spring rate seemed WAY to soft, E30's are tail happy as it is, add the bouncing from hard shifting, and it would be hard not to loose the rear end.....
-
13 s nice time xD

It was a driveshaft that broke, when power going to only one wheel and the other locking up it's quite hard to control the car

Very sorry to see a quick E30 end up like this...
Suspension seems to have been the matchmaker in this battle, it also looked to me as he didn't have LSD... maybe WELDED diff ? either the welds broke or an axle and then power only goes to one wheel...
Notice how the rear end drops/sags right before the crash...
