Kevin Smith: Prince part 4

Indirectness and aloofness is typical of reclusive people. Prince was completely in character of an Artist behavior. I'm Sorry Kevin had to experience it 1st hand. All of the hospitality he expected will takes years of closeness for Prince to really open up and be personable.

i think this whole thing happened because of miscommunication.

smith ought to have been upfront with his request from the beginning. i'm sure prince, who obviously is the kind of guy who just does stuff because he wants to, believed smith called because he wanted to do some kind of project with him. as the project progresses, it's clear that it isn't going well, so that's where it ends.

with that said, it wasn't right that prince didn't thank smith for taking up his time on fathers day.

When someone's being a bad host, let them know so. Something subtle like eg. leaving a floater in their favorite bathroom.

That's actually really awesome. Prince is still crazy though.
