@FULIAN at least we learned how we actually treated them in history, but Europeans also played a major role in the slave trade so you can't say that they are completely innocent in all of this. Not to be contradictory or offensive.

it's so funny how this movie portrays americans as good people when in reality the spanish and the new spain accepted blacks!! when have you heard of in latin america or spain blacks rioting or revolting against the government?? get real!! people in america make movies to portray americans as heroes and forget about their true history

WOW!! This is shockingly terrifying. I mean seeing a bunch of human beings taken against their will as"imported goods", and shipped off to some other place....it just made me lost my train of thought. The whipping scene really did it. I watched this in AP History, and I literally cried my eyes out.
