@ElectroDragon3 I paid $199 US on contract for my iPhone 4 - ditto my iPhone 3GS a year prior (subsidized is the only way you can buy a new iPhone in the US).

I sold my iPhone 3GS for about $350 after using it for a year and unlocking it. I sold my iPhone 4 for about $550 after using it for a month and unlocking it.

Then I went to Canada an picked up a factory unlocked iPhone 4 for $650 Canadian because I liked it so much and I don't want to have to jailbreak it to unlock it.

I would have liked a white one. I had a while iPhone 3G, and it was a nice change from the original silver iPhone (which I also had).
