98 Chevy K1500 G80 test with burnout

5.7L. Swapped out factory GU6 open rear end for a Chevy factory G80. You can actually see and hear (turn up the volume @ 3 seconds; you'll hear a "click") when the locker kicks in. Before my new exhaust was put in.

@F250custom4x4 Front ones: I bought some newer Chevy wheels to use for the summer. Back ones: I put on some crappy tires to burn up rather than ruining my good ones.

Thats crazy how yours dosnt wheel hop besides a tad at the beginning it looked like it wanted to but i installed a locker in mine and when i tested it it wanted to wheel hop

Does the new axle have a 3.42 ratio as well? I recently found out all about this and my 98 4x4 has it, along with a 3.73 ratio.

@XTRFilms Yes, the new axle is 3.42. That's the only reason I was able to do the swap. With the wrong gears in it, I would have torn up the T-case.
