4 days post surgery.mov

4 days after having my Gastric Sleeve surgery I was released from the hospital. I couldn't drink any water or keep anything down. I also had really terrible hiccups that wouldn't go away either. They got rid of them with some medicine they gave me through IV and now I'm good. Home, drinking the protein shake business, having me jello, and drinking water. Voice is still jacked up since surgery, but I know that'll clear up soon. Thanks for following and thanks for your support!

@gerneyegirle thanks for the well wishes. the more I hear from people who've gone through it the more strength I gain! =) I just asked my mom to get me some sugar free pops too... just because I want something different! LOL

Dude, i'm with you on the pain!!! Worst I had ever felt! Hope you are going better! And this is going to change our lives!!! I had hiccups right after I had water the next day... OMG it hurt!!! Thanks for subbing, can't wait to join you on your journey!

wow i was 2 nights 3 days in the hospital i had my sergery on jan 16 im still in sum pain i go to the dr tomorow i just want to wish u the best and try to sleep as much as u can i still have not had no food just surger free ice pops and water i dont do good wit the proteen drinks so i so feel u also they just put glue noe staples i know as of friday i lost 19lbs from the 16 the day i had it done want to wish u a fast recovery good luck :)

Congrats on your surgery. Sorry you went though so much pain. It'll be a distant memory when you start seeing your amazing results. I'm having surgery in the morning...unbelievable. Best luck to you on your journey.

ALSO, im alwaysss cold lol Its because we are losing our insulation and because we are losing weight so rapidly our metabolic cell processes are not working as hard as they were before; so it makes us feel cold even though we have a normal body temp. :/

Glad your home!!! The day after I had my surgery I got the hiccups too, it hurt so bad everytime i would hiccup!!!! Just keep drinking and drinking lol Getting your staples out doesn't hurt at all so that will be a breeze!

heyyy im glad u're home.. even though u had those speed bumps.. i had the gastric bypass back on the 9th of this month and i had some complications which turned my two day hospital stay into a 5 day hospital stay :( try to walk as much as u can tolerate. and just rest as much as u can too... u are gonna feel weak and out of it and all that good stuff but thats all normal since u arent eating. also the cold thing.. i think its a reaction from all the meds they gave u and the anesthesia.. ttyl
