Yes, most wrestling feuds don't last two years. And, you're right. By the time this fight and the final one they did one week later, this storyline had been spent.

I'm not stunned. This angle was brilliant when it first started, but this went on for nearly two years and I think the Mid-South fans had really just had enough. It was just overdone by the time this match took place.
