@vkkmenon1: You don't need an emperor for an empire. Take a look at the Angevin Empire for instance, they didn't have an Emperor.

It is common sense to think it in this way.... If British Empire exsis, then who the hell is the Emperor/Empress???
To my knowledge, the last British monarch to have the title was George VI, the current queen's father...

What spanish Empire? I don't see any countries under Spains control nowadays While The United Kingdom has 16 whole countries still under their control
