John Lennon's vocal on the dream sequence is much lower in the mix than here, in addition to which his vocal control was without equal. Only Lennon himself was at a level where he coul successfully accomplish this astonishing piece of work; many have tried, and all have failed. Johns can't hit the high notes, either.
