  • You think the MIAC report publishers will admit there wrong doing? Whitewash to the filth that is the MIAC Reports as they pollute gullible minds of control freaks! Theres no fulfillment in going against morals and humanity. We are being turned on each other partly do to the stunts like this that the missouri highway patrol pulls. People need to bring compassion love and logical thinking as individual. Stop group think, stop regurgitating the garbage that the glowing fear box feeds you!

  • Did that guy just hint that the persons making this request may be potential threats, too, because of their political beliefs?

  • I mean, what do you think would garner more public outrage and sympathy?

The fact that the MIAC wasted federal tax dollars publishing a useless document that will lead to wasted state tax dollars?

Or that a fringe group is acting on the fears that get them classified as a fringe group?

  • I would say that it does require action, but to yell and scream probably would help to validate the suspicions of those who think the Liberty Movement is prone to paranoia and overreaction.

Wouldn't it be easier to shame the MIAC and show them how absolutely useless and potentially costly (in terms of dollars and liberty) publishing this information can be?

The document's purpose is to identify dangerous militia members. It is utterly USELESS in doing that, because their profile is so poor.

  • Wax... you make it seem so "harmless"

It's not. It is a match to an entire forest of FEAR and SUSPICION. Ignite those..... and you have

something out of control in a HURRY.

I say YELL and SCREAM at the lit match... and do

    it IMMEDIATELY.

  • Whether anyone likes it or not, the conspiracy theories and rhetoric which were, up till recently, largely confined to the militia movements, are now becoming as acceptable as rolling your eyes at the mention of the official JFK story.

The MIAC should have been aware of this fact, but instead published a document which would have been helpful in 1988, but is now largely a shoddy excuse to waste tax dollars pulling over some kid who saw "Freedom to Fascism"

  • Secondly, this is either an deliberate attempt at "guilt by association" or just poor information analysis on the part of the MIAC. If their business is local intelligence, they should have been aware that the information they published was USELESS in helping law enforcement differentiate between the modern militia movement (which, in isolated cases, is dangerous) and the modern liberty movement (which is mostly harmless).

  • Firstly, the "Liberty movement", as its being called, is full of people who, up to the Ron Paul campaign were unaware that a lot of the material, symbols, and rhetoric they adopted were and continue to be commonplace in the militia/white nationalist movements. (Ending the fed, "Show me the income tax law", etc...) They are basically kids who are largely ignorant that there are people who stradle the fence between extremist/mainstream who have been disseminating these ideas.

  • I will never spend another red cent in MO, and I have spent tens of thousands of dollars there in the past. An that goes for internet stores also in the future.

    BOYCOTT!
