@Hendleyco Actually, this song was written by Dorsey Dixon around 1930, as you can confirm by googling "Dorsey Dixon Weave Room Blues".

Sounds great and I would go crazy in a place where it snowed so much. Why didn't you do the yodeling part on the chorus?

What a small world.
Cousin Fisher Hendley grew up in Anson County NC. I remember him playing Weave Room Blues in
the 1940's. He and his Band first played on the Radio at WBT Charlotte NC. He later settled in Columbia SC and had a successful career until he retired.

You can find an excellent version of it on an album by The New Lost City Ramblers, titled There Ain't No Way Out. Just google for it and you'll find it all over the place. It's one of their best covers.

Hey there, I'm from Brazil and find your video searching for songs talking about cloth industry for a "geography of industry" project. Not only it helped me but I was really delighted with such a pleasant musician you are!

You just totally saved my arse on a US history podcast project. Thank you so much, I couldn't find this song anywhere! Great performance, I've watched your other videos as well now :D

I last heard this song in 1976, at the U.S. Bicentennial Folk Festival on the mall. I've been wanting to hear it ever since.
Thank you for singing.
