Long ago on "TOMORROW," a guest produced a vibration so powerful that it put the show's host and many others into a dream-trance state within a few seconds. All reported it to be the most relaxed they had ever been.
If you string aircraft cable to each end of a steel girder 8' or longer you can do it. A bow (think violin) is drawn across the stretched cable. The sound is modulated by the tautness of the cable, and length of the girder. TV sound was inadequate for the full effect, unfortunately.
It's B flat with a kick.
