JFF - Elora's First Appearance

The official title for this cutscene is "I've Got a Dragon!"

The second half of the introductory cut scenes from "Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage" ("Gateway to Glimmer" in Europe) and the first appearance of Elora the faun. This video was kindly recorded for me by Eternal Night at Spyroforum.

What I don't get is, if everyone thinks the older games are better, why is it Elora is the only love interest of Spyro's that no one remembers?

@yingyanggamer You're just not looking anywhere. :) There are tons of fans of Elora x Spyro, myself included. Though a favorite pairing has absolutely nothing to do with why the games are better.

@yingyanggamer There are a few, just not as many as other pairings. Elora came from an era in gaming that didn't have very many flashy cutscenes to make videos with. There aren't many classic Spyro videos at all, but a lot of Spyro fans like those games way more than LoS (which has thousands of videos).

@yingyanggamer There are a few like that. They aren't very good, but they exist. And there's some of Elora and Spyro using MMD models, which were pretty cool.

This game was one of my first video games ever, it will always be near and dear to me. My brother and I loved to quote Hunger and Elora, I wish she appeared more in the 3rd game...Ripto's Rage is the best.

I have nothing against the new generation Spyro games. I've been meaning to check one out from a local library. But they kind of killed off the old generation a bit too quick. I mean, now that Spyro's got Cynder, hardly anyone knows his original love interest was Elora. And this is the Spyro I personally grew up with. I sure wish they had kept the original series around a bit longer...
