Nice elevator, and it could be a Dover, because the motor sounds like a Dover elevator.

@revo8778 That's the other thing - we don't know which elevators are original to the Prudential Center because that garage existed upon the completion of the Pru in the mid-60s. I've been in the process of researching the Prudential Center development plans at the Boston Public Library. So far, I've found that the elevators go back as far as Copley Place in 1984. 1 thing we all have been able to agree on is that they were all modded to look the same, but probably didn't look the same originally

I think that may be an Otis.

Meh, we've been debating on these for years. Never really reached a conclusion. No one's ever mentioned Schindler.

@ElevatingBoston Actually, I think I have a pretty decent argument for it:
* Epco fixtures, often means Schindler.
* Display in cab frequently used on custom and freight Schindler installations.
* Westie-style floor passing beep, possibly used on early non-300A Schindler controllers.
But then again, couldn't everything I said have applied to Westinghouse, despite this being installed well after '88?
