This is another demonstration of the Beryl window manager for Linux. Pretty sweet.

one thing I never understand about gnome users is that why do you need giant icons on the desktop???

I'm using Linux and I installed Beryl. If you tell me what distro you use (if you use Linux) I can give you instruction on how to install it.

No. Keep windows. Get Linux, yes, but keep Windows for games and such...

It is free. Just throw away Windows, encourage your friends to do the same, never buy and Microsoft product EVER again, and download Linux for free. There are many people who will help you.

Commercial, for sale versions of Linux offer nice boxed disk sets and full support (for FAR less than windows BTW), but for those who want to download it and google for answers, there'll always be free to download ISOs and even full source code for those whop want it. With Ubuntu and most other distros these days, you simply put the disk in and install it. The first time windows user has to do some research too, no?

Thing is, how useful is some of this stuff? I'm sure you can use all those workspaces and shit, but do you really want to be that busy? That would suck. I'd rather be surfing (on the ocean), or beating the piss out of mac users in a bar.
