My 1st experience of Mad Sunday on the Isle of Man in June 2006. Worth doing once but for a traffic free run get up very early, its much better than Mad Sunday.
@jenniferalls It all depends on the balls/experience of the rider and the road traveled. Given enough balls and experience, a rider on a smaller displacement bike can keep up with riders on more powerful/specialized bikes. Given equal experience, the rider with the superior bike will win out. But not by much. Most claims are exaggerated, and even large differences in drag race times or motor displacement don't equate to vast distances at the finish line/down the road. Have fun!
With the right suspension, tires and rider, a bandit 1200 will run with 90% of the bikes and riders on the road. Many times leaving them scratching their heads, and shaking their sore wrists and legs.
