Fire safety education for kids and adults // Interactive, hands-on fire scenarios.

BullEx Fire Safety Trailers are hands-on educational tools for kids, teens and adults. Teach hazard recognition, and conduct EDITH drills with children. Show teens how to dial 911 and evacuate when discovering a fire. Prepare adults to stay safe in an emergency at home or in the workplace. BullEx trailers will get your community fired-up about fire safety.

Safety lessons are incorporated into a number of settings including kitchens, industrial rooms or bedrooms.

The kitchen hazard recognition elements include a chemical cabinet, a rotating pot handle, smoking outlet and smoking toaster props. Teach your community how to recognize dangers in the home and stay safe.

For higher level training, interactive SmartProps create a fire emergency. As an oven fire spreads to the stove-top and then ignites a near-by trashcan, trainees can learn to call for help with the interactive 9-1-1 phone. If the fire hasnt grown too large, adult trainees can use a laser-driven training extinguisher to knock down the flames before evacuating. Smoke alarms, heat and sound effects add to the realism to better prepare trainees.

Add the severe weather package and teach your community what to do in case of a hurricane, tornado, earthquake or flood. Each scenario begins with a severe weather alert and a storm watch. The meteorologist presents key safety points and allows time for you to add additional information. You control the scene based on the age group. When the alert is upgraded to a storm warning, the intensity of the weather can be increased. From light rain to lighting, thunder, high winds and power failures, each scenario can be adjusted to make an impact for a wide variety of age groups.

In the industrial room there are interchangeable hazmat placards, a chemical drum prop and leaking cylinder prop to teach occupational safety and response. A lock-out tag-out station can be used to train on proper safety procedures and a smoking outlet can be used for electrical safety discussions.
For emergency response training, a simulated sparking electrical panel ignites a parts washer creating a smoky class B fire. Trainees can pull the fire alarm, secure the power and attempt to use a training extinguisher to put-out the flames keeping their evacuation path in mind.

In the bedroom scenario, teach how to feel for heat and stop smoke from coming into the room with the heated, smoking door. Show children how to find a second way out with the EDITH map and escape window. For adult learning, a smoldering trashcan and interactive 911 phone can be added to the bedroom.

Video cameras and TV displays record the action and can be used to engage large groups while training is conducted inside.
