@ILoveCustardCreams2 i think they kept pushing the Clana angle more was also because the Superman Returns movie came out when the show was in it's 6th season, and WB had told the producers of Smallville not to start up with the Clois storyline yet, since it would coincide w/the movie...

I was happy when they ended the Clana story in s7, but was annoyed when they brought back Lana just when we fans started seeing the attraction btwn Clois, then we had to wait another season b4 anything took off.

@Buhry We have the writers to blame for that. If they'd tried to resolve Clana earlier on and given Clois more time, then Clana fans might've been able to move on and accept Clois more easily. I'm not saying they should've rushed into it but perhaps if they'd started it around season 6 and built it from there, then we wouldn't have gone through as much Clana rubbish (the amount of times they broke up and got back together again was just annoying) and the Clana fans would've had time to adjust.
