I can totally relate to this. As a child, I would always excel highly above my peers in science. After I was diagnosed with autism (age 12) I begun to grow very interested in reading and writing. That's why in 6th grade, I read at an 8th grade level. :p Now, at age 36, I am indeed a writer, although I still find science quite fascinating. :)

well Taylor you have given me hope for my daughter who is Autistic, watching this video was like looking at my own daughter, but also seeing what she can achieve. well done with how far you have come, you are a truley amazing talented young lady. your videos have taught me a lot and helped me to understand my daughter now, rather than none of us knowing how to help her. im now showing your videos to friends and family to help them understand also.

i have aspergers growing up they did not labeled me that i was labeled seletive mute and trouble child and slow learner but when i became an adult they put me as aspergers i do have other learning issues along with aspergers like adhd and tourrettes and reading and spelling

I have a 3 year old son who has classic autism and is non-verbal. He is in early intervention now for almost 3 months and has made significant progress though still not talking intelligible phrases. I hope one day he will finally talk to me, to his daddy and to his baby sister. Your video gives me hope.
