Chris Davis opened for Michael Ian Black when he came to Birmingham to perform at the Alys Stephens Center. Michael was nice enough to give us an interview for View Of The City. Yea Michael Ian Black!

  • Michael was a great interview and put on an awesome show! Thanks Michael.

  • Michael was great and this interview was totally off the cuff. We just improvised everything. He plays condescending very well, but in real life he's a sweetie. Just comedy folks.

Thanks for watching and tell your friends. Oh, tell Michael too.

  • Thanks Clarky5 and everyone who digs the video. I'm kind of like a young, slender, brown Walter Cronkite. Hard hitting journalism with all the insecurity of a 15 year old girl.

And that's the way it totally is for real. I'm Chris Davis.

  • When sharks and tigers fight, only the Discovery Channel wins .

Great interview, Chris! Hard hitting journalism as always...

  • But see, but see... the shark COULD be a TIGER shark. But see, but see... would a tiger and a tiger shark fight or befriend each other?

But see, but see... you know wat was dumb? Ruining all this good tiger/shark fighting convo with crazy word talk... non sequitur, conveyance? Really with all the "fancy" words? Gettin' all sesquipedalian up in here!

  • it was a very funny performance. and nobody got hurt. i guess. do people get hurt at comedy shows?

  • He's got that California swag if you wanna call it that. His stand up was great though. So much better then some of these new comedians on comedy central that you watch for 2 mins and change the channel. It was a performance that had you laughing from start to finish

  • @cinwoo I dont think he isnt doing that as if he was really like that...I think they had him do that on purpose for comedic effect...although you are right he comes off as a tool rather than funny but even as a tool he found a way to be funny by ignoring the tiger vs shark question and then going back to it later.

  • tigers can actually swim! they are one of the few big cats that can and will swim.....

  • what a jackass.... he reminds me of my daughter's ex boyfriend... BORING and condescending
