Didi Conn who played Frenchie in the movie version of Grease, along with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-john, is interviewed at the opening of the new revival of Grease on Broadway in New York on August 18th 2007.
She gives a short insight into how it feels to be part of the Grease legacy, while her children provide us with some entertainment, albeit unintended.

  • Seeing Didi Conn brings back memories for me. As a child of the 90s, I know Didi as Stacy Jones from the PBS children's show "Shining Time Station" (1989-1993). She seems like such a nice, friendly, energetic lady. And yes, her son is autistic. That's something he and I have in common, as I happen to be a high-functioning autistic myself. It's so nice to see that, even though Danny has limitations, Didi still loves him and is very proud of him.
