Video #3 in the "how to clean and re assemble your fader" for the Rane TTM57 mixer. Be sure to check out all 3 videos.

MAKE SURE THE POWER IS OFF TO THE MIXER. I even like to unplug the power cord from the back as well

Tools needed -
Philips head screwdriver
Deoxit FL-5 or DN-5 (to clean)
Deoxit F100L (to lube)
Q-tips to rub the rails

It's pretty simple.......and I mention this at least 5 times in the videos - If you take the ribbon cable off, make sure you put it back on the proper way.

On the green circut board next to the pins, you will see "J1" printed on the board. The red side of the ribbon cable attaches to the "J1" side of the board. Make sure you do this properly.

If the ribbon cable detaches from the main board of the mixer, when you re-attach them --Make sure the red line on the ribbon cable is pointing to the right.

Make sure you do this properly. If not connected properly, you can fry your fader.

  • Did you try adjusting the Hall sensors? Those effect how and when the fader cuts.

  • Good deal. Easy to do but you need to know what to do first. Cheers :)
