I got a laugh out of this very effective and straight to the point ad, then I kept laughing once I read some of the ignorant and immature comments.

Why is it we see countless ads on TV for baby formula (12+ months) but we never, ever see any commercials that advocate and support breastfeeding? Why is it that nobody seems to bat an eyelid when a baby is fed a bottle in a food court, but when a mum breastfeeds in the same area she is stared at or talked down to?! I have never, and WILL never feed my son in a public toilet OR a public parents room. I'll feed him where I want whether people like it or not.

I salute the Australian Breastfeeding Association for making this ad, I'm mum to a gorgeous 6 month old girl and I breast feed. I stand at 6ft tall and know what to do to people who really annoy me so I'd love to deal with someone who dared to approach me and try to tell me that they'd appreciate it if i went to the toilet to feed my baby - I think their fkn head would be down the toilet before they could even get the sentence out!

"@jeshogan a child being fed shoudn't offend an adult" but young childern and kid teens etc around you have no right what so ever to tell someone esles kids whats right and what wrong its selffish and mean and your not just feed in it everytime you don't use cover up and show of everything without needing to just to shock people it selfish and VERY poor mannered its not about you.

@enithhernandez look up and you'll find your wrong the breast are part of sexual act natural for human dickhead and moaning about sexual comments when a baby which its self comes from doing that is idiotic,

everytime you have sex for plessure then your just as bad as sex is for making child like breast are "just for feeding" we just be aloud to walk around topless

@brisbanette don't want looks or talked down don't show off your child is feeding its not you and what you want if you do it right when nothing would be seen as your child would cover nipple and baby hands and top bra would cover the rest easy other woman do it and don't get looks and fed there child with fuss

@blusennent funny when you do the same you wouldn't eat with your hands or mouths wide open chew loud same baby table manners apply, you say if you don't like don't watch well don't watch any one esle eating it should be done discretly YOU ONLY NEED A NIPPLE FOR FEED not to be naked its about your baby feeding (not nourishing idiot) not about you and all you and your belivies its easy to do it with vest and top or blanket using your child for poticial protests is selfish

1. There's a difference between a baby who probably doesn't even know what those noises are, and a person old enough to feel a little nauseous at hearing those noises while eating.

2. Actually, I WOULD eat in a washroom. Sometimes I need to (when my blood sugar is low while I'm on the toilet) but I've even eaten in a washroom when I DIDN'T need to. (Hell, I was drinking coffee while sitting on a toilet just this afternoon.)

So yeah.
